They spent the next four days with us at our historic Juniper Hill Inn and experienced a once in a lifetime adventure – a balloon ride that took them over the hills along the banks of the Connecticut River and over the beautiful Quechee Gorge which is very close to our inn. We landed and hour and a half later in a farmers field off route five just North of Windsor, Vermont. The trip was under the expert guidance of Derreck whom, along with his wife, owns and operates Balloons of Vermont – www.balloonsofvermont.com – he commented “I haven’t laughed so much in ten years!”.
